PASA covers the entire range of services from the initial design to serial production.
Development
PASA develops rescue and cushioning systems (airbags) precisely according to your requirements and UAV type. In many cases, it is not possible to rely on existing models or designs because our customers' requirements vary greatly. There is no 'One Size Fits All' concept in this market.
Under the main menu 'Development' and 'Defining Your Project,' you will find general information and criteria that may be important for understanding the entire topic. Additionally, in our online form (LINK to 3.4), you will find specific questions regarding your project.
Consultation
PASA also offers pure consultation in the field of system development. Depending on the scope, we will create a suitable proposal for you, which is usually divided into a sequence of sections and then processed accordingly.
Material selection" and "estimation of manufacturing costs
Once all the important key data from the client have been fully defined, materials can be selected, the first prototypes can be built, and the unit prices for future serial production can be determined. It is very important to define whether, and if so, which standards or certifications will be necessary for the product later. See more under: Certification further below.
Series production
In our own production facility in Croatia, we check every stage of production ourselves. Depending on the application, requirements and possible need for sample testing, we can create any form of traceability protocol, which in extreme cases can even include the fabric roll number. For this level of traceability, each system is then given its own serial number. Ultimately, it is up to the customer to decide which traceability they want or need and whether the extra cost for more comprehensive traceability is worth it.
Testing
In most cases, our clients or drone manufacturers conduct their own tests. However, we can also perform some or all of the tests for you if you do not have the necessary infrastructure. The scope includes material tests (if not already available), drop tests, G-force measurements, measurement of deployment times at various flight speeds and descent rates.
Prototype testing
Since production traceability and documentation involve significant effort and cost, the client should carefully consider which standards and regulations they must or want to comply with in daily operations, and which markets or countries they plan to supply later. This helps avoid development errors and time loss that could arise from inadequate material and/or system design. We strongly recommend clarifying this point at the beginning of the project. If the client only looks into this issue much later, it could significantly restrict the drone’s use (e.g., being limited to visual line-of-sight operations).
Services
PASA offers, among other things, the measurement of caps after use, and depending on the quantity and sales volume, we can also set up a packing service for our clients. Due to our weekly shipments to and from production in Croatia, timely repairs to caps are also possible.
